These beautiful raffia bags are handmade in Madagascar, ethically produced and sustainable. There’s 3 size shopper baskets (with fabric drawstring inner) and a compact raffia handbag style bag in this collection (please select from the drop down the colour and style you’d like).
Sizes as follows:
Small raffia handbag style (in pink or mint): Approximate size: length of top 26cm/length of base 14cm x width of base 8cm x height 19cm
Small shopper basket/handbag (with leather handles) in coral, teal or multicolour: Approximate size: length 33cm x width 15cm x height 24cm
Medium navy stripe shopper basket (leather handles): Approximate size: length 38cm x width of base 18cm x height 28cm
Large red stripe shopper basket (leather handles): Approximate size: length 40cm x width of base 22cm x height 30cm
The drawstring shoppers are woven with native Osaka grass, with raffia wound around the trims. The leather handles on the shopper baskets are made from zebu cow hide (a by product of meat production) and are hand-sewn to each shopper basket.
