These raffia basket bags are a summer favourite! Practical and gorgeous these bags are a versatile accessory to take on holidays, sunny days out, picnics, beach, shopping, parties or to store bits and pieces in and enjoy in your home.
These beautiful raffia bags are handmade in Madagascar, ethically produced and sustainable. There’s 2 size shopper baskets (with fabric drawstring inner)
Medium navy stripe shopper basket (leather handles): Approximate size: length 38cm x width of base 18cm x height 28cm
Large red stripe shopper basket (leather handles): Approximate size: length 40cm x width of base 22cm x height 30cm
The drawstring shoppers are woven with native Osaka grass, with raffia wound around the trims. The leather handles on the shopper baskets are made from zebu cow hide (a by product of meat production) and are hand-sewn to each shopper basket.
